Mornings 6am to 10am

Meet AJ-Helpful dad, upstanding citizen... As a young man, I had the world by its bootstraps and was \dating the prettiest and smartest gal in town. Her name was Layla, just like the melody. Well, by spring time, we had made it official. Boy, let me tell you that was some wedding! Just when I thought life couldn't get any sweeter, old Mr. Stork dropped in to pay me and Layla a visit. I loved those boys so much I just couldn't face the truth. And so I went on with life as if everything was normal. Eventually, my worst fears were realized. It's funny how a man reacts when his heart gets broken. Some break down and cry and climb a clock tower, but I didn't seem to react at all. I just swallowed hard, felt the slab of heartache slide over the lump in my throat, and locked it all away.
As you can imagine, it wasn't easy... for little Jamal, Lee Harvey, and Shonte Jr... growing up without a mom. I, however, made that little house into a big old home and the boys flourished. Let me tell you, they were smart ones. That is when I decided to get into radio...
I remember listening to DJ's like Shadow Stevens, Rick Dees, and Dr. Demento and thinking, "I can do that!" After graduating from high school. I had done some DJ work at Frat parties, weddings, and birthdays. I landed a job at an alternative station in State College and then moved to Top 40 radio in Indiana. Then I moved back to PA and continued to work in Alternative radio until a format change to Top 40. Shortly after, I left state College to work in Top 40 radio in Allentown and Classic Rock in Reading, but then returned to State College and worked in Top 40 radio, again, before joining the Magnum Broadcasting team.
